Jan 24 - Today:

We have spread the word as wide as we could and are now waiting. We will continue visit SPCA's and vets frequently ????????

Thank you so much for everyone's support so far! Let's get Nelson home!

Jan 23:

We went around Lyttelton and the train stations handing out pamflettes to many people, including many homeless. We met such wonderful people tonight and had such great conversations!

Some of the guys said that they know that there are people who pick up dogs and go and sell them. So that's our next focus, trying to figure out where they do that and how their process works.

I think it would be great if we can rescue some of these dogs ????????

Truly a very humbling night ????

-----------

Jan 21, 22:

We put up some flyers at every house in Kloofsig and parts of Lyttelton Manor, thinking that maybe someone took him in who isn't active in Social Media.

-----------

Jan 20:

The search continued in PvR and Lyttleton Manor with no luck. More flyers were given out and posters put up. We also put dogfood glazed in a pork rib source in specific spots and monitored them throughout the day.

Many other Schnauzers were found and we are so happy!

As we return to work we are praying for our precious Nelsie and that he is safe ♥️

-----------

Jan 19:

We continued searching in Pierre van Ryneveld, Lyttleton Manor and Monument Park with no luck. We put up more posters at more vets.

I have added a higher quality photo of the one taken in PvR to this post. We are unsure if it is Nelson, but we are still considering it!

Today was difficult, but we push on ????????
-----------

Jan 18:
Centurion and Tshwane SPCA visited.
All vets were contacted again with flyers.

We were notified around 5pm that Nelson had been spotted in Pierre van Ryneveld. We rushed to get there and heard that he had later been spotted in Kirkness Street Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/psfgM). We searched the surrounding area, but no luck. The people were so helpful in searching!!

There were 2 other Schnauzers found today and that is a win for us. On to day 3 ????????

-----------

Jan 17:
Centurion SPCA visited and aware.
All vets in 20km were notified.

Flyers were placed at:
- Kloofsig Spar
- Afriforum offices
- Solidariteit boom gate
- Sasol Dastek garage

Search area was Kloofsig including neighbouring grasslands, but we had to stop due to rain.

-----------

We are just praying and trusting that he is safe ♥️
